Wedding Gifts ~ Let’s face it: most of today’s brides and grooms have been living together for months, if not years. Our marrying couples are older, they are established and they pretty much have their lives and homes figured out.

Now before you get grumpy with me, I did say “most”, and this post is to help you find a good gift for those “most” folk. Obviously if your wedding couple is young and moving from mom’s house to “our” house, then shopping for towels and spatulas is just fine. Many of today’s couples have all those things though, so when it comes to buying gifts, shopping for the 21st century couple can prove to be quite a challenge.

Here are five suggestions of 21st Century Wedding Gifts to help you with your shopping woes.

1. Cook Books

Cook books are a wonderful gift that can be used over and over for years to come and they can be really fun to shop for. Don’t forget to put a nice inscription on the inside to commemorate the occasion.

2. Photo Frames

Your newlyweds are about to be handed a whole album full of beautiful photographs, some of which they will want to put on display. Having a set of beautiful photo frames will prove incredibly useful at this time.

3. Art

This is a risky one, but if you know the couple well and feel confident in their taste, a beautiful piece of art would make an incredible wedding present.

4. A Romantic Dinner

Help the newlyweds keep the romance alive by giving them dinner at a romantic restaurant.

5. A Weekend Getaway

Stick the newlyweds to a night or two in a fancy hotel. They can either use it as part of their honeymoon or save it for a later date.

6. Cash

If all else fails, every bridal couple truly appreciates an envelope with a little moola in it. That way they can pool those envelopes together and buy a new piece of furniture, or have a little extra spending money for the honeymoon.
