Boost your honeymoon mood

Let me tell you a little secret about honeymoons: They come at exactly the right time! Now that might sound daft, but the truth of the matter is that after months of planning the perfect day, it is an absolute relief to be able to ride off into the sunset for a little bit of a holiday. Unfortunately, all the wedding stress can do a bit of a number on your libido which is kind of a bummer since, let’s face it, honeymoons are supposed to be about a whole bunch of time spent between the sheets.

If you’re feeling a little worried about not being in the mood for all that delicious honeymoon romance, try a couple of these tricks to give yourself a little bit of a boost.

Aromatherapy Oils

Get yourself some ylang ylang, neroli and sandalwood aromatherapy oils and mix them with a bit of grapeseed oil. Use the oil to add to a nice hot bath (that you can share of course!) or to use to give each other a nice sensual massage. Ylang ylang and neroli are aphrodisiacs and sandalwood has calming properties to help ease that tension away.

Select the right snacks

Some foods are also natural aphrodisiacs so keep this in mind when it comes to the foods you choose to eat before and during your honeymoon. Foods like oysters, asparagus, dark chocolate, garlic, avocados, celery, watermelon and figs all help when it comes to giving your libido a bit of a kick.

Herbs & Supplements

Dietary supplements are an essential part of keeping yourself strong and healthy, but they can also aid in improving your libido. Try using supplements with maca berry, horny goat weed, damiana and ginseng in them.

Buy Lingerie

Get yourself some nice lingerie. You’ll want to show off your new g-string, which will naturally lead to other things.

Most importantly: don’t put pressure on yourself! Enjoy every moment of your honeymoon and if you’re not up to performing like courtesan, then don’t. You have a whole lifetime of great sex ahead of you!
