How to Look Your Best on Your Wedding Day

Perhaps you already have your beauty regime narrowed down to a fine combination of science and art, but it’s more likely that somewhere between your life and your career are a bunch of mismatched beauty details that you’re struggling to balance. It might be that normally you kind of just go with things and feel quite proud of yourself when you manage to fit in an eyebrow waxing or a pedicure. The funny thing about weddings though, is that they kind of make you want to step it up a notch. The girly side comes out in full swing and you cannot help but want to look your best.

Here are a few tips on how to look your best on your wedding day.

Find Your Face

An important part of any beauty regime is to know your skin type and then cater for it. The right products for your face will go a long way to helping you get that beautiful glow. Start this regime as soon as possible in order to see a difference in time.

Pile on the Antioxidants

Start drinking  a lot of plain tea. The antioxidants will give your whole system a boost and aid in keeping your stress levels down. Rooibos tea is great and so is green tea, but if you want to try something that is extra packed with anti-oxidants try Herbalife’s Instant Herbal Beverage. In addition to that, drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and keep your skin looking great.

Plan Ahead

Plan your hair and make-up way in advance so that you have plenty of time to practice your style before the wedding. Quickly fitting in a hair and make-up test during the last two weeks before the big day places unnecessary stress on you.

Two Weeks Before

Get your hair trimmed to make sure you get rid of all those dead ends. Do NOT decide at the last minute to try a new haircut!

Go for a deep cleansing facial. Note: be 100% sure that there is no way that you are allergic to the products that will be used on your face.

One Week Before

Get your waxing done. Start a gradual self-tan regime (if you feel like yo have to have a tan). Get your teeth whitened. Touch up your hair dye.

48 Hours Before

Gently exfoliate your body from head to toe. Go for your mani-pedi. Keep drinking plenty of water. Make sure you get enough sleep. Try to keep stress to a minimum.

On the Day

Keep drinking water! Don’t use any beauty products that you have never tried before (no one wants to deal with an allergic reaction on their wedding day) and most importantly: Smile! It’s your wedding day!
