Meet Our New Bride To Be – Elle

We’re so excited to introduce you to our new Bride To Be – Elle. Thank you for sharing this journey with us, we look forward to every step of the way.

My name is Elle Hughes-Blignaudt and 22 June this year saw the man of my dreams, Wesley “Bear” Gerber, go on both knees asking me to marry him. The last 7 weeks have flown by and so far we have reserved our venue, date and photographer which by popular belief are a few of the most important elements to your big day.

As with our relationship, our engagement has been a thrilling adventure filled with ups and not-so-high-but-still-ups and I am excited to share that journey with you. I have quickly learnt that not everything will be exactly as you imagine or as easy as you expect but I have learnt that people will surprise you, people will show they believe in you and many will do what they can to share in your love and joy as you prepare for the ultimate adventure: marriage.

When I am not daydreaming about dancing on a beach with my Bear I am working towards a little television show which I help produce and voice and a website which I do my bit to contribute to. I have also been introduced to the world of blogging and share some thoughts and musings.

I hope you will enjoy reading about this new chapter as much as I will enjoy sharing it.
