Mirroring the personalities of the bride and groom, Burnadene and Riaan requested their wedding to be classic, elegant and fun. They wanted an inviting ambiance with a fairy-light skyline and beach front setting for their special day.
With only 30 guests of close friends and family, described by the couple as ‘old souls’, the event was a rather intimate affair. The bride got her dream barefoot beach wedding with her female guests also receiving a pair of crystal string sandals for the occasion.
The food and wine was a very important factor to the couple and the immaculate attention to detail by the chefs Herman & Andre, made for the perfect preparation and service of the wedding cuisine.
Susette of Flower Cottage designed the beautiful flower arrangements, consisting of indigenous Proteas and Fynbos and the abundance of burning candles neatly decorated on crisp white table cloths completed the overall look.
The post-winter evening in Yzerfontein had quite a bite to it, but before guests could go cold they were presented with Pashmina’s with personalized wrapping to keep them merry and warm.
The couple’s main objective was to enjoy this memorable day, and with great music, a lot of dancing, bursts of laughter and glowing fireplaces in the background, Burnadene and Riaan could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day.
